Our flexible BSc Economics and/with Mathematics will enable you to combine technically demanding yet applications-oriented skills in economics with strong quantitative skills in mathematics and statistics. This undergraduate degree will give you the knowledge and skills you need for professions requiring a combination of economic literacy and quantitative skills. It is also particularly suitable if you want to proceed to technically oriented master's programs in economics and finance.
The BSc in Economics and/with Mathematics is ideal if you wish to complement your study of economics with a higher level of quantitative skills in mathematics and statistics, or if you wish to apply your mathematical skills to economics and finance. You can choose from a wide range of option modules and tailor your program to graduate with either a BSc in Economics and Mathematics or a BSc in Economics with Mathematics, depending on your personal interests and career aspirations.
This degree will prepare you for a wide range of jobs in both the private and public sectors, in the UK and overseas. Our graduates go on to develop careers in:
