Course Overview

You consider the end user's needs, creating spatial layouts that improve circulation and function. As well as designing bespoke textiles, fittings and furniture and selecting colour palettes and lighting schemes.

Working in a dedicated design studio with computer-aided design and industry-standard workshop facilities, you learn many professional and creative skills, including architectural drawing techniques, spatial planning, surface design and pattern, trend forecasting, 2D and 3D visualisation, sustainability and history of architecture and design.

General Eligibility

32-88 points, including a creative subject, from any recognised Level 3 qualifications or equivalent combination. Consideration will also be given to students without formal qualifications but with evidence of relevant experience at an appropriate level. Students are invited to bring portfolios along on applicant days to show creative skills in art and design.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
