Course Overview

Be part of the future of nursing in a critical role where you'll provide compassionate and evidence-based care to your patients.

Adult nursing is a dynamic, diverse, and evolving profession. Our course will support you to make a positive contribution to the well-being of those in your care.

50% of your course will be spent in a variety of placements in both acute and community settings to support your learning and gain insight into the positive impact nurses make on individuals, families, and communities.

On successful completion of the course, you'll be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a registered adult nurse. This will open up a wide range of exciting career opportunities for you including working in clinical practice, management, education, research, or using your skills in the armed forces. You could also choose to travel and explore the possibility of practicing overseas.

Additionally, there are opportunities within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing to progress onto postgraduate study, including Continuing Professional Development courses, and MSc or Ph.D. studies.

International Baccalaureate: 29 Points

Combinations: A combination of qualifications totaling 112 UCAS points

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language you require an IELTS overall score of 7, with scores of at least 7 in reading, listening, and speaking, and at least 6.5 in writing.
