This course is specifically aimed at International students, supporting those wishing to gain practical work based experiential learning. Together with studying your chosen course we are offering an additional 6 month placement opportunity, making the course 18 months in length. This allows students with limited experience to put into practice the skills and techniques developed throughout the Masters degree. A vast increase in automotive electronic systems has created an array of new engineering opportunities and challenges. Electronic systems now form a key aspect of modern vehicles and this course is designed to address some of the challenges this presents in engineering. The course includes the principle aspects of electronic engineering and will give you an appreciation of the issues encompassing the move to lower emission road transportation. In addition, it will provide an understanding of the technical and economic aspects of modern vehicles.
An Honours degree (2:1 or above) in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent professional qualification. You are also encouraged to apply if you have other qualifications and/or experience and can demonstrate that you are equipped with knowledge and skills equivalent to Honours degree level.
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
The minimum of IELTS 7.0 overall with no element lower than 6.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
