The Programme is a post-registration award and professional qualification designed to meet the professional needs of Registered Nurses who will be working in a Primary Health care setting. The program is designed to meet the needs of individual practitioners seeking a flexible and adaptable route to a degree level qualification and specialist practitioner recorded qualification with the NMC. Specialist academic and clinical colleagues have worked collaboratively to develop expert core modules for Specialist District Nursing including Community Formulary Prescribing v100 (full-time).
Effective registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC Professional Register). A minimum of two years post-registration clinical experience, normally within a community healthcare practice setting. Applicants must also possess 120 credits at level four and level five.
If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent when you start the course is essential.
