Course Overview

Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if youve got the ability to study for a degree, but dont have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an honors program. Its a great stepping stone to a full degree. Youll have a lot of choice on this course. On the Language side, there are modules to suit any interest €“ from language structure to the teaching of language, language and gender, and forensic linguistics. You could also choose to specialize in the related areas of media, forensic and political discourse, or the nuts and bolts of language by choosing syntax, phonology, and morphology. Youll develop your writing in a range of genres, including short stories, poetry, plays, and radio and film scripts.
