If you choose to do the full master's program you will learn about international corporate finance, strategic investment, and banking and wealth management. You will also complete modules looking at risk management and corporate governance, how to identify and manage risks and how to measure and monitor organizational resilience and sustainability.
On the MSc, you will also develop practical research skills and undertake a consultancy project or research-based dissertation.
Banking and Finance pathway
On this pathway, you will focus solely on international corporate finance, strategic investment, and banking and wealth management.
Risk Management pathway
This pathway will cover risk management, corporate governance, and project risk appraisal. You will learn how to identify and manage risks and how to measure and monitor organizational resilience and sustainability.
Whichever pathway you choose, you will develop key skills in information searching, data collection, problem-solving, communication, and report writing.
Modules will be assessed by coursework assignments and you will apply your knowledge to specific business contexts.
You will keep up-to-date with business and financial news, and current issues facing businesses and the financial services industry through case studies and peer-to-peer debate.
Employability skills are embedded into the program. For example, you will use learning logs to personalize your learning and become a reflective practitioner.
You should usually hold a second-class honors degree (certain programs may require a 2:1) from a recognized British or overseas university.
