The 2-year MSc Midwifery programme in midwifery is for adult nurses on the NMC register.
Throughout the programme, you'll gain the knowledge, skills, and competence to care for women and their families across the childbearing period; during pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal, including the systematic examination and assessment of the newborn infant.
At the point of registration, you can provide skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate care for women and their newborn infants and families.

A minimum of a 2:2 Honours degree in Adult Nursing
Adult nurses live on the NMC professional register.

A recent study within the last three years
For applicants whose first language is not English, we require IELTS Level 7 in every element.
Applicants must be able to work in the UK without restriction and must not require a student visa.
To ensure our students have a rich learning and student experience, most of our programmes have a mix of domestic and international students. We reserve the right to close applications early to either group if application volumes suggest this blend cannot be achieved. In addition, existing undergraduate students at the University of Hull have a guaranteed ‘Fast Track’ route to any postgraduate programme, subject to meeting the entry criteria (excluding Social Work).
