This four-year program has been designed with an integrated foundation year to allow you to explore key areas of chemistry at the beginning of your studies. As a foundation year student, youll be well-equipped to enter Year 1 of your degree, having built your confidence and acquired essential scientific knowledge and techniques at Year 0. You will spend a number of your classes in our state-of-the-art superlab €“ one of Europes largest and most advanced teaching labs €“ which has 280 workstations and a wide range of cutting-edge scientific equipment.
At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma). English Language and Mathematics GCSEs at grade C (grade 4) or above (or equivalent eg Functional Skills at Level 2) €“ if you meet the UCAS points criteria but have obtained a D (grade 3) in English and/or Maths at GCSE you may be offered a University test in these areas.
