Course Overview

The foundation year of this course will teach you the fundamental aspects of programming, computer hardware, game design, and mathematical techniques. The foundation level of this course will ensure you have the fundamental skills in games programming needed to succeed in the subsequent three years of your course. Our dedicated staff will help to build your academic abilities and your confidence throughout this four-year degree.

General Eligibility

At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma). English Language and Mathematics GCSEs at grade C/grade 4 or above (or equivalent, eg Functional Skills at Level 2). Applicants who meet the UCAS points criteria but who obtained a D/grade 3 in English and/or Maths at GCSE may be offered a University test in these areas.
