Our degree will help you gain an understanding of contemporary HR theory and practice, but also recognize the key issues which impact organizations. This will allow you to build up a full picture of the business needs which will prove invaluable when you graduate. It is aimed at those who wish to develop a strong understanding of the nature of business and HR management in a world of volatility, uncertainty, change, and ambiguity. A key feature of the program is to blend both academic study and skills development in order to enhance the employability of our graduates. You will gain opportunities to develop key skills, such as empathy, problem-solving, and creativity, which will ensure you are well placed to enter the employment market. Academics who teach on the program have a wide range of experience in the HR sector and ongoing links with the industry. With smaller, more intimate class sizes, we give our students one-to-one teaching and support. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects and live briefs with students from other business management degree programs, gaining the practical and transferable skills you need for your career.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for our three-year programs, or those who do not feel fully prepared for first-year entry, can be considered for the four-year program including a foundation year. Applicants to these will have typically achieved between 32-56 UCAS tariff points.
