Course Overview

The Subject Enrichment Week for Drama trainees has to date included Amsterdam, Venice, Barcelona, and Prague. Trainees are given the opportunity to work with teachers, performers, and academics from schools, theatres, and universities, as appropriate, during the course of the week. You will be encouraged to consider the historical and cultural context of the theatre and educational drama practice you engage with in comparison to that of the UK. A journal of thoughts and experiences will also be developed during this time.

We provide access to part-time jobs, and extra-curricular employability-enhancing workshops and offer practical one-to-one help with career planning, including help with CVs, applications, and mock interviews. We also deliver group sessions on career planning within each course and we have a wide range of extensive information covering graduate jobs and postgraduate study.

Students and graduates of the University of Chester can use our services free of charge for up to two years after graduating.

General Eligibility

Applicants will normally:

• hold or be expected to gain a minimum 2:1 honors degree

• have GCSE grade C/grade 4 or above in English Language and Maths.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

• IELTS Academic: 6.5 (no less than 5.5 in any band)
