Course Overview

You learn of industry expectations by participating in hospitality-related work experiences and projects. You explore the hospitality sector by attending lectures and seminars with guest speakers where you can ask questions about career development and discuss aspirational goals.

You complete five modules in your first year and five in your second year and are expected to attend contact study hours and further practical hours in addition to the timetabled lessons.

This is an award of Teesside University delivered in partnership with Hartlepool College of Further Education.

General Eligibility

Entry is subject to the University's standard requirements.

  • A typical offer is 40-48 points.

The primary qualifications and skills required are:

  • GCSE grade C or above in English, maths and science or equivalent

  • Level 3 qualifications (A Levels, diploma, NVQ, T Level or equivalent).

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
