Course Overview

The Master of Regional Development will provide students with an opportunity to critically engage with bodies of advanced scholarly knowledge and underlying principles in the fields of regional development, with a focus on environmental, educational and social policy, programme design, development, and evaluation.

The MRegDev has been developed specifically to draw on interfaculty expertise, and so bridges economic, scientific and resource management, with education and social and community well-being.

It will provide those with professional experience working in regional and iwi policy in Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally, or those looking to enter the field, with the latest academic and policy expertise.

There are 180 and 120-point pathways available, with entry determined by previous study and GPA attainment.
