Course Overview

You'll develop knowledge in psychology and build analytical skills which can be applied in a range of careers, including occupational psychology, management, human resource management, recruitment, health and safety, engineering, the public sector, training and development, organizational change and development consultancy, and policy research.

Our teaching team draws from academics who are chartered psychologists and practitioners with industry experience and expertise from various disciplines across the University of Strathclyde. Strathclyde Business School is home to many staff focused on applying psychology to work and organizations and has extensive collaborations with industry, policymakers, and practitioners.

The Department of Work, Employment & Organisation, where the program is based, is a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Approved Centre recognized for its world-leading research and real-world impact.

General Eligibility

Academic requirements

Minimum second-class honors degree or overseas equivalent (see international entry requirements) in psychology (for the Chartership route) or business, management, or another social science subject (for the non-professional way). Applicants with a lower degree and demonstrable work experience will be considered individually.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
