Course Overview

As part of your course, you’ll:

  • Develop intercultural awareness and self-confidence

  • Work on your communication, maths, research and study skills 

  • Increase skills in presentation, time management, problem-solving and planning

  • Discover some of the fundamental principles of business and management 

  • Develop your knowledge of the role businesses play in the economy

  • Familiarise yourself with business operations during classroom seminars

  • Research existing organisations using a range of case studies

  • Work individually and in groups to explore information and show analysis through presentations and reports

  • Gain an understanding of British culture and universities, through a series of lectures and seminars

We’ll help you improve your study skills through projects, essays and practical exercises. You’ll be assessed by a mixture of coursework and classroom tests in reading, writing, speaking and listening. 

General Eligibility

  • Academic study to a minimum of GCSE equivalent plus one year of study or work experience is required.

  • Where appropriate, experience and professional qualifications will be considered in place of academic qualifications.

  • If you require a Tier 4 (General) Student visa to study this course you must take one of the following tests from a UKVI-approved test centre:
