Learn to challenge conventional conceptions of fashion image-making by investigating the complex relationships between fashion, storytelling, ethics, diversity, social position and body image. Taking this new-found understanding into practice, you’ll be encouraged to experiment with traditional and experimental methods of fashion image-making, including film photography, moving images, VR, 3D modelling and photogrammetry.
Collaboration and community are part of the DNA of this course and this industry. So, you’ll have opportunities to work with students from across the University’s departments – from games to performing arts – and globally renowned industry contributors, meaning you’ll graduate with a valuable professional network.
You will:
Attend guest lectures and have access to world-leading practitioners that have previously included Harris Elliott, Matthew Holroyd, Joyce NG, Shonagh Marshall, Amy Gwatkin, Derek Ridgers, Ewen Spencer, Ben Weller and Hempstead May
