Course Overview

This increasingly popular subject extends the Pure Maths, Statistics, and Mechanics covered in A-Level Mathematics.

It also introduces many new concepts, including imaginary numbers and decision maths. During your lessons, you will develop various skills, including solving problems and communicating your ideas to others. You will work in groups and on your own, using ICT and graphical calculators to assist you in your learning. In addition, you will develop the ability to work independently and organize your time.

General Eligibility

All Loughborough College Sixth Form courses have minimum entry requirements of at least five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English Language and Maths.

Subject-Specific Entry Requirements:
GCSE Maths at grade 8.
