... University of Hull

Course Overview

Gain hands-on skills and experience in a highly professional environment.

You’ll combine theory, hands-on experience, critical reflection, and professional judgment as you learn to excel in the latest techniques in exercise rehabilitation.

Our expertise is illustrated by our collaborations with FIFA, the International Olympic Committee, and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

You'll work in specialist facilities such as our Sports Rehabilitation Suite, Health and Human Performance Laboratory, Environmental Chamber, Performance Analysis Suite, and Exercise Physiology Laboratories.

And you get the chance to gain a minimum of 400 hours of experience on clinical placements with professional sports clubs such as Hull City, Hull FC, and Hull Kingston Rovers – or with private practitioners.

Hull is the only official partner of Team GB - which means you’ll get opportunities to hear from elite athletes and industry experts. You’ll be encouraged to follow your sporting passions. Our Talented Athlete Programme (TAP) offers scholarships to selected high-performing athletes. As well as a cash award, you get a tailored package of support to suit you and your sport.

Our Sport Rehabilitation degrees have accreditation from the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT). Graduates from those courses may be eligible to join BASRaT as a full graduate member, practice in the field of sports rehab, and use the title Graduate Sport Rehabilitator (GSR).
