This course is designed to meet the professional standards set by the industry governing organisation, the British Association of Sport & Exercise Sciences.
As part of your course, you’ll:
Enhance your awareness of the professional issues and research applications within health, exercise and sport
Engage with consultancy and research projects and work with elite-level athletes
Upgrade your knowledge of physiology, nutrition, biomechanics and psychology
Applicants should either have at least a second-class honours degree in the cognate subjects of Sport & Exercise Science, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Physics, Biomechanics, Physiotherapy, Physical Education, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Dietetics, Nutrition, Medicine or Sports Therapy, at least a second class honours degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for or have equivalent experience or training, usually from within the work environment.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5 or an equivalent qualification.
