BA (Hons) Business Administration (Marketing)

... United Kingdom
... University of Bedfordshire

Course Overview

This one-year course is for those who have already completed two years of undergraduate-equivalent study in a related subject (Level 4 and 5 or 240 credits) and wish to gain a degree in Business Administration with a specific focus. It opens the door to a range of rewarding careers in the business sector and marketing.

With its dynamic blending of theory and practice, this highly vocational degree explores the latest developments in marketing, communications, digitisation and social media. There is also a clear focus on developing your employability: the course builds your understanding of the core principles of business knowledge and operations, taking a global perspective and covering a variety of organisations, from small/medium businesses to multinationals and new ventures.

Using real-life case studies and practical exercises, you explore marketing thought and practice across the globe, analysing and reflecting on key marketing decisions. You learn to apply established techniques - such as problem-solving, critical thinking and analysis - to solve real-life problems while challenging marketing concepts and data.

With this degree, you should have already studied marketing or business administration at an appropriate level or have substantial, relevant work experience in the field. You will be ready to extend your existing knowledge, skills and capabilities to respond proactively and creatively to contemporary issues in marketing, in the UK and abroad.
