Our Economics degree is run by a very experienced Department of Social and Political Science. It reinforces the vision of economics as a major social science that influences others and considers the different contexts and fields that Economics is related to.
As this is a dynamic course, it is continuously evolving, and participatory activities and the use of the latest technologies will help to enhance your employability.
Economics opens opportunities in many areas. Our students have shown particular interest in civil service positions, such as the ones the Government Economic Service offers. But some pursue business careers as entrepreneurs or go into financial advisor roles. Other opportunities include economic policy analysis, consultancy, investment or data analyst, and statistician.
