Course Overview

Our Mechanical Engineering BEng course develops you into a skilled incorporated engineer and prepares you for a career in any area of mechanical engineering. You can also take our MEng route to become a chartered engineer. You’ll develop your specialist knowledge in the core fields of engineering and learn how to apply basic principles to complex problems. You will study; engineering science applied mathematics manufacturing techniques electronics graphics and design.  We will develop your design and analytical skills through individual and group work. You’ll gain practical skills by manufacturing a model Stirling Engine in our workshop. We offer you excellent work placements with companies such as Bentley, BMW and Rolls Royce. Many students have secured permanent roles with their placement company. Our graduates have found work in; design aerospace manufacturing automotive and motorsport engineering general managerial roles commercial roles entrepreneurial roles.
