Course Overview

You’ll study the newest advances in the field and use industry-leading facilities to develop your expertise, with access to over 70 domestic and non-domestic species on-site. You’ll also benefit from our excellent industry connections with animal trainers, scientists, and behaviorists across the UK.

Emerging science and technology will allow you to understand animal performance to a greater extent as you study. All of our training methods are underpinned by the strictest ethics and supported by the latest scientific evidence, prioritizing the physical and psychological needs of animals to enhance well-being and performance.

You’ll be presented with the key scientific principles at the forefront of animal training, performance, and rehabilitation and you'll have the chance to undertake an independent research project in your area of interest. This will enable you to delve deeper into a topic you care about and contribute to research that’s making a difference in the lives of animals.

General Eligibility

Academic requirements

A pass at Foundation Degree or HND relating to animal structure, function, nutrition, exercise physiology, management practices

We may interview mature applicants and those with non-traditional qualifications to ensure this is the right course for you
