Course Overview

This graduate-level program will prepare you to serve individuals who experience limitations in their daily lives. In this program, you’ll build on your previous education and/or experience in healthcare to gain the confidence, knowledge, and skills necessary to practice as an ethical occupational therapist.

This program is designed as part of our Occupational Therapy pathway, and is a continuation of our Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science degree. Students should choose the Direct Admit pathway when enrolling their freshman year, then apply to the MSOT program in their 3rd year.

Other options are available for those wishing to transfer to UC from another institution, those who already have a bachelor’s degree, and for those who have a current Occupational Therapy Assistance license. (See below for the details.)

General Eligibility

All students, regardless of degree status, must complete the required pre-requisite courses with a pre-requisite GPA of 3.5 or higher and an overall GPA of 3.25 or higher to be considered for acceptance into the program.
