Course Overview

This course will equip you with relevant and current knowledge, skills and understanding to achieve the level of competence essential for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) for professional practice as a diagnostic radiographer.

This course aimed at current graduates with an appropriate first degree who are interested in pursuing a career in diagnostic radiography, utilising their existing knowledge and experience in a challenging and diverse healthcare environment.

During this course, you will undertake a range of modules which will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to graduate as a radiographer. This course will include theoretical and practice elements where you will spend time working within an imaging department, observing and learning from experienced practitioners. Placement learning in an integral part of the course and allows you to develop your knowledge and understanding of radiography whilst linking theoretical and practice components.

General Eligibility

• Evidence of an appropriate first degree

• Applicants are required to hold five GCSEs grade 4/C or above including Mathematics, English and Science.

• Please note, equivalent Level 2 qualifications will not be accepted.

• Applicants whose first language is not English, but who have been living in the UK for 2 years or more will be expected to hold GCSE English at Grade A-C, (grade 4-9 for the new GCSE).

Part Time Work Details

20 hours per week.
