Course Overview

The Health Care Foundation Year aims to provide you with an understanding of the basic concepts of health care. The course also develops your skills and knowledge to prepare you for successful progression onto a degree course.

You will:

  • Develop the skills and knowledge to successfully study at Level 4

  • Learn about the basic theories and concepts relating to nursing

  • Be taught by a multi-disciplinary programme team with experience in a range of professional health care settings
