Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Environmental Psychology is designed to enable students to study the application of core areas of Psychology to the study of human behavior in a range of environmental settings. In addition to core psychological content, which is aligned with the requirements of the British Psychological Society, students will apply their knowledge to areas of human environmental interaction and behavior. A core strand of research methods throughout the first two years of the program will enable students to scaffold their learning and expertise in research design to allow them to design and manage a piece of original environmental psychology research for their dissertation project under supervision.

A second strand throughout the program relates to skills development and employability, with students supported to locate environmentally relevant placements during their second year of study.
