Our PGDE in Business Education course will prepare you for a bright career educating tomorrow’s accountants, lawyers, business analysts, social media experts and marketing professionals.
Business education teachers are often the ‘go-to’ for technological innovation and advice. Therefore, the course uses a range of applications and digital platforms, and you will be supported to develop your skills in using these with pupils. You can undertake the Microsoft Innovative Educator and Apple Teacher awards on this course.

Degree requirements
A degree in business and management, or international equivalent.
Degree must include:
A minimum of 40 SCQF credits at SCQF Level 7 or above, and 40 SCQF credits at SCQF Level 8 or above, from at least two and preferably all three of the following subjects:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Business Management, for example, marketing, human resources, management
Applicants must be able to demonstrate evidence of study within eight years of the course start date related to relevant Information Technology Skills. Alternatively, applicants must be able to demonstrate recent use in the industry of Microsoft Office packages.

Higher (SCQF Level 6) English Grade C or above
National 5 (SCQF Level 5) Mathematics Grade C or above
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
