Course Overview

The modules you will study will facilitate successful progression to universities requiring a balanced science-based Level 3 qualification.

This diploma allows you to apply for a degree in a Science subject, which could lead to a career working as a scientist or laboratory specialist in the NHS, the private sector, radiologist, forensics, or scientific research. Following the successful completion of an Access course, you can either move into full-time employment or progress to Higher Education. Should you choose the latter, we’ll provide you with information, advice, and guidance to help you to find and apply for a course that meets your needs and aspirations.

General Eligibility

Students must have GCSE English Language at least Grade C/4 to enroll in this course and GCSE Maths at Grade C/4. In addition, a GCSE Science qualification in Grade C/4. The application form asks for previous academic qualifications, and the interviewer must be satisfied that the candidate has sufficient literacy and numeracy skills to cope with the course requirements and the written components.
