Course Overview

International Fashion Business forms an overarching role that combines the creative, cultural, global and business sectors in fashion. The emphasis of this course centres on building business innovation, solution development and identifying opportunities within the fashion industry. Learning includes world topics around ethics, operations and management, sustainability and culture in an ever-growing global marketplace.

This course will introduce you to the fashion business, giving you fundamental industry knowledge from varying international perspectives.

Students can look forward to learning business skills such as operations management, cross-cultural management, fashion supply and distribution, financial planning, fashion cycles, social and economic developments in fashion and much more.

International Fashion Business is an innovative course that develops critical thinking and learning strategies for the fashion business. You will be encouraged to collaborate across our fashion cluster courses and external partners.

Studying this course will allow you to be creative, using innovation to conduct new ways of operating in fashion on a global scale. Prepare to be inspired.

General Eligibility

112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the

UCAS tariff calculator, including:

  • A Level in at least two subjects

  • BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM

  • BTEC Diploma – D*D*

  • Access to HE Diploma

  • T Levels

  • International Baccalaureate – 24 points, including a minimum of 15 points at a Higher Level

We also welcome applications from students taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator and will assess the suitability on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to one of the above, you should have the following:

  • GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

    • IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).
