Our BSc Computer Networks and Security course lets you build on your existing knowledge to gain the skills, experience and industry-recognised certifications you need to excel in the rapidly growing network industry.
You’ll learn how to reduce security threats to networks, and develop the skills to design and implement internet and network applications. You’ll learn to experiment with the specialist equipment that lets you put your newfound skills into practice.
We accept applications from students with a wide range of qualifications, including combinations of qualifications. The requirements for our most common entry qualifications can be found below:
112 UCAS Tariff Points including GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths
A Levels: BBC
BTEC: DMM
Access requirements: Overall pass: must include 45 credits at level 3, of which all 45 must be at Merit or higher
Combinations: A combination of A-Level, BTEC and other accepted qualifications that total 112 UCAS Tariff points
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
