Course Overview

The General Pharmacy Practice course provides the core skills and competencies to provide holistic pharmaceutical care in the practice setting. You'll develop key knowledge and skills in clinical pharmacy practice and medicine management plus the understanding needed to conduct effective consultations and to identify, prioritize, and resolve complex pharmaceutical issues. For those starting at the Certificate stage, the work-based learning begins in January, and university entry is in March of each year. Anyone who has already obtained the Certificate can begin the Diploma in either March or October.

General Eligibility

Postgraduate Certificate: You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and work within an accredited training center. Postgraduate Diploma: Completion of the PG Certificate General Pharmacy Practice. Master's: Completion of the PG Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice.

  • An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
