Course Overview

Engineering is a popular and specialised industry.As an electronic engineer you'll design, develop and test components, devices, systems or equipment that use electricity as part of their power source. Our advanced course in Electronic Engineering aims to address the educational and training needs of research, design and development engineers working in the area of electronic systems.It should appeal to those of you wanting to specialise in the areas of digital system development, systems on 'chip' (SoC) and field programmable gate arrays (FPGA).The course will suit your interest if you're looking at comprehensive analysis of current digital systems and investigation of future techniques and methodologies. It will give you the opportunity to choose from modules taught within the area of electrical and electronic engineering.Covering topics areas such as Advanced Digital Design Systems, Computers in Control and Project Management. Graduate destinations are in innovative electronic product design; medical, aerospace and military system research and development.

General Eligibility

Entry requirements for this course are normally:

  • An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in Electronic Engineering, Computing or related disciplines

  • Or equivalent professional qualification

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
