This course aims to get you thinking about the functional and aesthetic potential of interior environments. By encouraging you to think about whats possible and engaging with design processes, youll discover how you can transform space, questioning the future of retail, leisure, and workspaces, and all interior environments outside the home. Interior Design transforms ideas into experiences. We'll give you the opportunity to be able to create and innovate entirely new experiences and relationships between people and the places they spend time in. The emphasis is on creativity, as we explore current design thinking using this to push the boundaries to come up with new ways of looking at interactions and transforming our environments. On this course, you can: Focus on the practical side of things, with the aim of helping you to prepare for a career in interior design. So well give you the chance to get involved in a range of projects across several typologies, building your own unique portfolio as you move through the course. Use skills and experience gained over your time on the course to give you the best chance to succeed in your future career as a designer. Well aim to give you a thorough grounding in all the technical demands of detailing and specification alongside the creative aspects.
