you choose to study for a Forensic and Analytical Science BSc(Hons) with us youll get the benefit of career-focused teaching on a course that combines forensic science with the complementary area of analytical science. Whether you choose to take the three or four-year study route on the course, its accredited by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences and youll be supported by academics and experienced practitioners in forensic science and in analytical science. Youll be able to focus not only on the theory that could set you up for a wide choice of careers but also on gaining the practical skills that are so sought-after across a range of industries. Youll get to grips with a wide spectrum of topics in lectures, problem-based tutorials, lab classes, and purpose-built crime-scene facilities. Well also support you in getting experience of how things work in the real world of the profession through mock criminal court hearings and organized outdoor crime scenes. And if youd like to extend your hands-on understanding, you can opt to complete a placement in Year 3.
The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
