Having a creative eye and a talent for fashion design is only half the story. If youre going to make it in the fashion industry you also need to have the practical skills and technical ability to succeed. This course aims to give you a great head start in this exciting sector. In this course well: Give you the chance to focus on designing and making fashion garments, whilst also studying the marketing side of things, including how to create a brand and how to promote your products. Develop your technical skills to prepare you for your career in the dynamic fashion industry. On your course, youll be able to use a range of techniques to bring your ideas to life, including industry-standard sewing machines, pattern cutting equipment, and software that will enable you to produce professional marketing material. Offer you the opportunity to get a feel for the fashion industry by taking an optional placement year during the course. You could get hands-on experience with a high street name or in a small design house, working in the UK or overseas.
The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
