Events Management is a fast-paced and dynamic industry, no one day is the same, youll have opportunities to travel the world, work with interesting people and continuously challenge yourself. With us, youll learn the skills required through practical hands-on application and the academic know-how required to succeed in a competitive market. You will learn through practical application and creatively delivered lectures, workshops, seminars, and group work sessions. Coordinating your own event as part of the assessment in each year. Working with charities and external clients to create events concepts. Volunteering on events throughout the year (e.g. NCRI in Liverpool, CHS in Leeds, Chester Food & Culture Festival). Industry software training and creating event design concepts, operating the technology and equipment behind events. Attending field trips. Complete additional qualifications embedded in the modules such as Food Hygiene Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, and CVENT Certificate and have the opportunity to complete additional qualifications such as Personal Licence Holders (RFQ). Future-focused subjects are delivered by lecturers who have worked in the industry or who are currently conducting cutting-edge research in the field. Industry experts delivering guest lectures.
The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
