Course Overview

With over one billion international trips taken every year and generating 1 in 10 jobs (UNTWO), tourism is one of the biggest industries in the world. It plays a critical strategic role in developing many destinations. Our course can allow you to gain the knowledge and skills to work in this fascinating and rewarding sector with business acumen. We all look forward to our travels, but we don't often think about what goes on behind the scenes, the processes, systems, and activities that mean we can travel and enjoy ourselves while away from home. This course will give you a comprehensive understanding of business management in the international tourism industry. The tourism business takes place in an exciting and fast-paced environment, at the forefront of innovation, yet moulded by ethical concerns. This course allows you to explore such dynamics from a business and practical perspective.
