Course Overview

If you already have knowledge of computing and want to build on your studies so far, this course could be for you. This is a one-year top-up course and well expect you to have completed at least two years of university or higher education study in a related subject. If youre looking to boost your chances of employment or promotion by developing your knowledge and skills in computing, were here to help. The course gives you the opportunity to work on your problem-solving techniques and build up some transferable skills you can take into the world of work. We know everyone will have reached a different stage of their studies and proficiency, so we give you the chance to tailor your learning, with an optional module system. You can also choose modules that best suit your career choices for the future. You could cover a range of vital topics like the development of database management systems, internet and intranet sites, build on your object-oriented programming skills, or explore the different technologies that can support the use of information technologies (IT) in organizations.

General Eligibility

A Foundation Degree or HND at Merit, or equivalent in Computing that must include substantial programming in an object oriented programming language, such as Java or C++.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
