This course covers practically every aspect of international tourism management, from formulating policy and planning to finances and visitor attraction management. By combining tourism with marketing, you'll also gain an understanding of basic marketing principles, plus specialist areas such as brand management, international business, and marketing ethics.
International tourism management requires the ability to look outward and capitalize on opportunities. You'll develop organizational and business skills that consider the diversity of cultures involved in this global industry. You'll also develop your abilities in research, time management, and presentation methods.
With the number of tourist ventures and operations in and near the city, you'll have plenty of options for part-time work, placements, and employment after graduation.
You'll graduate with a clear direction in tourism and a wealth of experience gained from your involvement in the thriving local tourism scene, giving you the insights to succeed in tourism and marketing management in the UK or around the world.
Our entry requirements indicate the minimum qualifications with which we usually accept students. Competition for places varies yearly, and you aren't guaranteed a business if you meet the minimum qualifications. Please note this course allows for Year 4 entry only.
