Human geography has become an increasingly important discipline within the wider field of geography. Studying the complex relationships between human societies and their environments is even more illuminating in the context of sociology. Whilst focusing on this field, we draw on different disciplines to bring human geography to life, covering themes such as global movement, international development, political and social change, diversity and inequality, and the shaping of nation-states. We equip you with a unique set of generalist and specialist skills relevant to a broad range of careers and include GIS and mapping and quantitative, qualitative, and participatory research skills.
