Course Overview

Real Estate students graduate with specialist knowledge and experience in commercial, residential, leisure and industrial properties. Careers in surveying and land agency are busy, varied and creative, suiting those who enjoy working independently and in teams and talking and listening to other people, understanding their problems and coming up with solutions that fit their needs and budget.

Our land and property graduates work with sizeable national property firms, small professional practices, estates, auctioneers, utility companies, charities, and local authorities, including Althorp, Balfours, Bidwells, Brown&Co, Buccleuch Estates, Carter Jonas, Chatsworth, Defence Estates, Elveden, Fisher German, H & H Land, Knight Frank, Ministry of Defence, National Grid, NFU, Rostons, Savills, Severn Partnership, Strutt and Parker, The National Trust, United Utilities, and Yorkshire Water.

General Eligibility

  • Offers tend to be in the region of 104 UCAS points

  • Students should typically be studying three subjects at the A2 level to be considered

  • Applicants are advised to gain a minimum of 1 week of work experience as a rural land agent/rural chartered surveyor by the time they commence the course.

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including the English Language and Maths.

  • GCSE Science is not required

  • Applicants can expect to receive offers including specific grades in specific subjects (for example, a B or C at A level or an M or D for BTEC modules)

  • Essential Skills (and other level 2 variants) and First Certificates/Diplomas are not accepted in place of GCSE passes.

  • Interviews will take place on an ad-hoc basis should the Course Manager wish to discuss any aspect of your application and for all potentially suitable applicants who require visa sponsorship.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
