This degree will prepare you to kickstart your career as a midwife, enabling you upon graduation to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Midwives provide care and support to women and their families during all stages of pregnancy, including delivery of new life and, labour and the early postnatal period. This programme follows the Standards for Pre-Registration Midwifery programmes set by the NMC.
We will be training you to take on the responsibilities of a midwife and be employable nationally and in the local community, serving women and their families. Through this course, you will learn about anatomy and physiology, antenatal, Intrapartum and postnatal care, care of the newborn, and complex and emergency care.

5 GCSEs Grade 4/C or above, including:
GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English
GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics
GCSE Science Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 7.0 in Writing and Speaking; 5.5 in Listening and Reading (or recognised equivalent).
