If you are a registered nurse ready to take your career to the next level, then this course will give you the skills to become an advanced practitioner who can lead, innovate and enhance healthcare within and outside the hospital environment.
This Master’s course covers all areas of your practice (clinical, managerial, education and control centres), and uses your current work and development needs to build on your existing skills and experience.
You are taught by a course team of experienced health professionals who will support you through any concerns you may have about returning to study.
You need to fulfil these criteria:
a. Be a registered healthcare professional on either the NMC or HCPC register.
b. Have a degree (grade 2:2 or higher) or equivalent professional experience.
c. Currently be employed with a health or social care provider within a nursing role.
d. It is essential that students remain in practice throughout this course and can provide a signed letter of support from their employer confirming that they can provide the skills development and support required for this course.
To apply for a postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) at the University of Bedfordshire you should have a good honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in an appropriate subject from a recognised university or HE institution.
We will also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications or appropriate work experience.
