This degree explores the key issues in inclusion for special educational needs, disability and diversity within children’s, young people’s and adult education and professional services within the inclusive field. You will be challenged to explore concepts of inclusion and exclusion locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. You will become aware of the social and cultural contexts of inclusion and will explore the implications of different models of disability and the intersectionality of diversity. The content of this course has been specifically planned to prepare you for a career in the inclusive field. It aligns closely with the Changemaker values and principles that the University has in place.
