Course Overview

The course blends media studies with theatre and has a strong emphasis on practice. With the opportunity to study audio and visual production, print journalism, digital media, and media practice, you will develop key skills and techniques for the production and critique of audio-visual material. The Theatre part of the course includes a wide range of practice, including community theatre, acting skills and solo, and group performance. This course provides a solid grounding in the theoretical, technical, and practical skills required of a future professional. Offers are tariff based, 80 - 120 tariff points from a Level 3 qualification* e.g: A Levels (no specific subjects required) International Baccalaureate Diploma BTEC National/Extended Diploma and Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma: MMP - DDM City & Guilds Advanced Technical/ Extended Diploma: considered on a case by case basis Access Welsh Baccalaureate is accepted.
