Course Overview

Awarded in association with TEF Gold Standard Institute, the University of Creative Arts, this foundation course is designed to prepare students for undergraduate study. The Foundation in Design and Creative Business course is divided into three stages and is designed to equip students with key industry knowledge and creative business skills. Taught by a team of expert practitioners, youll cover the key areas of creative business, marketing, fashion, art, and design as well as having the opportunity to develop your own creative portfolio of work. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be equipped with a highly transferable set of skills that can be applied to a number of creative industries. After graduation, you could consider the following roles: 1. App developer 2. Business development manager 3. Entrepreneur 4. Event planner 5. HR manager 6.Independent business owner 7. Information designer 8. Graphic designer 9. Office manager 10. Retail manager 11. Picture editor 12. Web broadcaster

General Eligibility

The standard entry requirements* for this course are one of the following: 64 new UCAS tariff points, see accepted qualifications Merit, Pass, Pass at BTEC Extended Diploma Pass at UAL Extended Diploma 64 new UCAS tariff points from an accredited Access to Higher Education Diploma in an appropriate subject 24 points from the International Baccalaureate, see more information about IB entry requirements And four GCSE passes at grade A*-C and/or grade 4-9 including English (or Functional Skills English/Key Skills Communication Level 2)
