You know that to successfully manage supply chains you need to know a lot €“ about a lot. And we know what areas your learning should cover to make sure you have the perfect skills your future employers are looking for, from project management and leadership to business analysis and strategic management. We understand that you dont want to narrow your career options down too early, which is why this course focuses on both, theoretical and practical learning. You will find this course to be directly transferable to the real world. Throughout your time at ARU, youll adapt to the fast-moving pace of international supply chains, getting hands-on with our Managing Supply Chains in Practice module as well as with LINKS, our intensive supply chain simulation game. You can expect guest lecturers, networking opportunities with industry leaders, and field trips to the Jaguar plant, Amazons Fulfilment Centre, or BMW in Germany. Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), you can expect to leave ARU with the advanced purchasing, logistics and supply chain expertise youll need.
Normally, entrants will be expected to hold a first degree from an internationally recognized university, at a minimum of lower second-class honors. This first degree must include a business or management module within it. Alternatively, entrants with significant management experience within the logistics industry will be considered. Candidates who do not possess any of these entry criteria, but can demonstrate appropriate relevant experience in a post of management or professional responsibility may be admitted if, in the opinion of the admissions tutor, they are capable of profiting from and contributing to the pathway. Requests for admission with APL (admission with credit) will be managed via standard university procedures.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
