Course Overview

Psychology and the exploration of the mind have been discussed for millennia, although its still young as a practice. This course will help you develop a scientific understanding of the different perspectives and theoretical approaches within the core areas of psychology, and the relations between them. Youll learn how psychology is influenced by many different factors. Through our modules, youll see how physiology can influence someone, with the way our bodies react to the chemicals they create, the impact of external influences, like society, how different languages change the way you look at the world, and the importance of childhood development.

General Eligibility

A first degree, with honors, at a minimum final classification of Lower Second (2:2) or equivalent.

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
